Meryal Waterpark

Partnering with Qetaifan Projects, WhiteWater, and Water Technology, Inc., we are proud to support Meryal Waterpark in creating Qatar’s largest waterpark spanning over 60 acres. The waterpark celebrates Qatar’s rich history in oil and showcases theming across the park with nods to the industry throughout. The bespoke Icon Tower, created by WhiteWater, is aptly named Rig 1938 and resembles an oil rig commonly used in offshore drilling.

15,000 sq ft (1,390 m²) of Life Floor is featured at Oil Blast, a family-focused amenity located in the Maydan Mahzam region of the park. This low thrill zone offers a quieter space for families to play. The use of color is a major component for this attraction; tan tones signal walkways whereas blue tones note splash areas. Two spray zones are accompanied by a pathway weaving between them that offers a subtle visual guide for guests to confidently navigate with full Life Floor coverage throughout. Safety is improved by offering this continuous surface and the intentional design ensures an immersive experience to encourage movement and fun all day long.

Meryal Waterpark won a Leading Edge Award from the World Waterpark Association in 2024.
