“The Life Floor gives life to the pool and to the space. A lot of times when you see tile, it’s not as exciting, but having this with the pops of color has allowed us to not have to do as much on the walls. We let the floor lead the way and it’s a beautiful space. I haven’t seen anybody fall or slip, and we know people are going to run. The investment is worth it just by reducing the slips and when people do slip, they’re not hitting the ground as hard. It’s aesthetically pleasing, it definitely lightens up the space, and it works well with the natural light that’s coming in at the corner of Plymouth and Lyndale. The most input I get is just how beautiful it is. People notice it. They touch the ground and try to see how soft it is and if they’re gonna slip. It’s a beautiful addition. ”

You can see that guest appreciate it when you see them staying inside the play area for prolonged periods of time, especially when they are sitting in the pool and playing with their kids. The “softness” of the flooring is very inviting and has really allowed families to stay together and enjoy the entire area as one. Kids can run through the area without worry of slipping and tripping and really be more interactive with all the elements and each other.”

Which was we used to have carpet and all the water would get soaked into it and wouldn’t dry out. So the carpet would get very smelly and stinky, but now we don’t have that problem anymore. “It’s the best floor we’ve ever had. No really, it is. Prior to this we have installed a cement slab that we put down 3 years ago and that was an absolute disaster. And prior to that we had this sort of pebble glue down floor which was even more of a disaster. This floor has been so amazing. It is so easy to clean, and I love it. Nothing but compliments on the new floor since we installed. They say that it is not as slippery, and it is comfortable to walk on. Those would be the two main compliments I’ve gotten. You know, I have had a lot of people ask about the floor since we’ve installed it, and I always say that the upfront cost is a little scary. It tends to scare people away, I get that. But if you can do it then it’s worth it. Before this we had nothing but issues, and now we’ve not had a single thing go wrong. Don’t worry about the cost, in the long run it is worth it.”

“The design really looks great, the way the colors all went together. We’re really happy with the design. We always tell our staff you can drop an egg on it. We just do that bit they do at shows. That’s how we describe it to everyone: that it’s soft enough you can drop an egg on it, so it will protect the kids if they slip and hit their head. It’s funny, yeah our staff didn’t believe us when we said it, so they went out and bought a couple eggs and they totally bounced. Proved them right.”

“We’ve had a few comments from guests –usually guests that visit a lot, like annual pass holders. They say it’s a lot better than what we had before on the Joker Soaker. It made a huge difference. Guests do like it, we know because we hear it from guests. It’s good slip-wise. We haven’t had issues falling. It’s comfortable to walk on and not hot.”

“We are very big fans of you guys. We think they’re doing fantastic. They are accomplishing everything you said they would accomplish. We are 100% satisfied. Our biggest expectation was to reduce injuries, and it certainly did that. And the other expectation was that it held and did not come up. In the smaller pool we’ve had no issues. We notice it because of the incidence rate. We record every injury we get in the park, the injury rate, and saw a significant decrease in injuries. From a data standpoint it has made a big difference.”

Part of the goal was that we were trying to find a way to make the pool area really stand out, rather than going back to exposed tile or concrete. So it definitely filled that bill.
